US President Joe Biden announced Friday the United States will ban imports of Russian seafood as well as strip most favored nation status from Russia, as part of its response over the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
The actions are being taken in coordination with the European Union (EU) and Group of Seven (G7) countries, said a statement from the White House.
"The free world is coming together to confront Putin,” Biden said from the Roosevelt Room of the White House.
