A flood of UK retail chains are abandoning Russian products, scouring both private label and branded products and either dropping them outright or working with suppliers to step away.

Though a number of other retailers in the United Kingdom over the last week announced plans to drop Russian products, none specifically called out seafood containing Russian fish, with the exception Wm Morrison Supermarkets, which told IntraFish Tuesday it will stop sourcing Russian fish products.

"Any of our fresh fish that was caught by Russian vessels is now being sourced from Icelandic and Norwegian vessels," a Morrisons spokesperson confirmed to IntraFish.
