The man who got the world to eat salmon sushi

The global success of salmon sushi -- now a staple in restaurants from New York to Tokyo -- can be traced back to one unlikely pioneer from Hammerfest, Norway.

In October 2010, the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo hosted a major celebration marking the 30th anniversary of the first shipment of Norwegian salmon to Japan in 1980.
