Thai Union is making a shift at the top of its North America operations, the company said Friday.

It appointed Bryan Rosenberg to the role of president and CEO of California-based Thai Union North America (TUNA).

He will be responsible for its two key North America operating companies, Chicken of the Sea International (COSI) and Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods (COSFF).

Thiraphong Chansiri, CEO of Thai Union Group lauded Rosenberg's appointment.

“Our business in North America continues to provide the greatest portion of revenue for Thai Union, globally," he said. "By appointing Bryan Rosenberg to the President and CEO of TUNA responsible for both COSI and COSFF businesses, we believe we can continue to drive revenues and innovation to firmly take us into the next decade of TUNA’s evolution."

Current COSI President and CEO, Valentin Ramirez, has resigned effective June 5.

Rosenberg previously served as president and CEO of Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods (COSFF) since he established the company in 2006 in partnership with Thai Union.

Chicken of the Sea was the first international acquisition made by Thai Union. COSI and COSFF have shared business objectives and have been very successful in collaborating across companies, Thai Union said in its Friday announcement.

The TUNA organizational structure will see additional changes to the senior management team to better facilitate the reporting and management structure, the company said. Those changes will also be effective June 5.
