Tesco chilled seafood supplier Hilton Seafood – formerly trading as Seachill – reported a better than expected financial year driven by more at-home seafood and meat consumption, especially in the United Kingdom.

The company announced strong year-on-year sales and volume growth for the 53 weeks ending Jan. 3, boosted by expansions in addition to COVID-19 related home consumption.

Hilton is keen to now promote the fact it can offer both proteins – meat and fish – demonstrated by the “food park” the company is building in New Zealand that will allow for the packaging of both the proteins at two separate factories, but in the one location.
