The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded over $31 million (€31 million) in solicitations for rockfish fillets, Pacific salad shrimp and Pacific whiting fillets.

On Wednesday, the agency awarded Oregon-based Pacific Seafood's Dulcich Inc. nearly 60 percent of its contract for Pacific salad shrimp, Pacific whiting and rockfish fillets at $18 million (€17.99 million)

Washington-based Ocean Gold Seafoods also received around $6.2 million (€6.2 million) to fulfill orders for Pacific Whiting and rockfish fillets, bringing the company's total contract award to over $24 million (€24 million).
