A Norwegian company is ramping up production of luxury caviar, which it plans to sell to the hotel and restaurant trade in the United States for more than $500 (€412) per kilo.

The company, Cibus Maris Norway, owned and operated by Cristian Saether, plans to charge NOK 4,500 (€422.90/$514) per kilo, or just under NOK 250 (€23.50/$28.60) per 55-gram jar, for its Luxury CIMORAE Northern Lights caviar.
