The National Fisheries Institute (NFI) on Wednesday commended US President Donald Trump for signing "phase one" of a new trade agreement with China slated to remove some tariff barriers and expand US exports.
"Knocking down nontariff barriers, cracking open markets, and ensuring China follows through on global commitments are essential for American fisheries to succeed globally," said NFI President John Connelly folllowing news of the signing.
