The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Monday awarded Channel Fish, High Liner and Trident Seafoods pollock contracts worth roughly $3.9 million (€3.5 million) to supply more than 1.6 million pounds of frozen Alaska pollock products to child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs around the United States.

Massachusetts-based Channel Fish was awarded $121,307 (€107,819) to provide programs in that state with 38,000 pounds of frozen Alaska pollock fillets.
