French salmon and trout producer AMP Saumon de France is aiming to secure a national listing with supermarket giant Carrefour after signing a regional deal in Normandy for its smoked salmon.
Its latest product line, comprising four slices of smoked salmon in 140-gram packs, is being distributed through 13 hypermarkets in the northern French region after appearing in promotional material.
It is processed at the company's Saumonier de Cherbourg smokehouse situated in and named after the northern French city.
