Discount supermarket retailer Lidl in France is recalling a line of sashimi grade salmon cubes amid fears of listeria contamination.
The salmon, sold in 250-gram packages, was supplied by French processor Crusta C, according to the French government website Rappel Conso.
Products were on sale in the Normandy in the north of the country, Occitaine in the south, as well as the Nouvelle Aquitaine region covering west and southwest France.
Consumers were urged not to eat the products with a Sept. 24 consumption date and return them to stores for a refund.
