Land-based salmon farming company Atlantic Sapphire is getting a sorely needed boost from one of its largest clients.

US-based Publix supermarkets will for the first time feature Atlantic Sapphire land-based salmon in an in-store promotion next week at all of its 1,282 outlets throughout the southeastern United States, according to Guy Pizzuti, seafood category manager for the $45 billion (€38.7 billion) retail chain.

"We are excited to see that the facility has reached a point in their production that we can now promote this fresh-from-Florida product across our entire seven-state footprint," Pizzuti told IntraFish.
