Ireland-based seafood supplier Keohane Seafoods has signed a new €20 million ($22.7 million) deal with Lidl Ireland, the companies announced Tuesday.
The company will supply fresh and frozen Irish seafood products, including salmon, mackerel, trout, and coley, to Lidl stores across Ireland.
Keohane Seafoods will also be exporting to a number of Lidl stores across the UK, Europe and the United States through this new deal, making it Lidl Ireland’s largest fish supplier.
Cork-based Keohane Seafoods was founded by Michael Keohane and his two sons, Colman and Brian, in 2010.
In 2011, Lidl Ireland began working with the company, which now employs a workforce of more than 220 employees and is one of Ireland’s largest seafood processors.
