India's seafood exports -- the bulk of which is frozen shrimp -- could be 10 to 15 percent lower this year, as the industry faces a "multiplicity of problems", according to the Seafood Exporters of India (SEI).
Like elsewhere, the country has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic this year but it has also been hit by heavy rains and disease that affected shrimp production, reported India Seatrade News.
