Fresh seafood is hotter than ever at US supermarkets, but frozen, shelf-stable sales have cooled

Compared to pre-pandemic 2019, US retail sales of fresh and frozen seafood in April posted double-digit gains.

Salmon is, by far, the biggest seller within the fresh seafood category, with April sales of $189 million, up from $184 million (€151 million) in March.
