Land-based yellowtail farmer The Kingfish Company has landed a supply contract with France-based retail chain Auchan, its second retail deal in as many days.
News of the Auchan deal follows yesterday’s news that the company is partnering with Italian supermarket chain Conad.
The Kingfish Company’s yellowtail kingfish will be available nationwide in Auchan stores across France starting this month, the company said Wednesday. The product will be sold whole.
Auchan is one of the five largest supermarket and hypermarket chains in France.
