French retail giant Auchan is rolling out a new line of fresh trout in March, supported by feed giant Skretting and alternative feed ingredient innovator Veramaris, only days after the two feed companies announced a similar launch at Supermarché Match.
The trout, supplied by France's Truite Service, is fed with Skretting's diet rich in omega-3 eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from Veramaris's algal oil and feed innovator InnovaFeed's insect meal.
