EU salmon supply falls 5 percent, new report says

An increasing amount of salmon is imported as raw material for processing in the European Union, according to the European Fish Processors and Traders Association.

Fresh whole salmon is responsible for 73 percent of the total salmon imports to the EU, followed by frozen salmon fillets at 13 percent and fresh salmon fillets at 11 percent.
