Novish, a maker of plant-based seafood alternatives, has inked a deal with Toronto-based Misty Mountain Trade & Consulting for distribution of Novish products to retailers and foodservice operators in Canada, company CEO Maiko van der Meer told IntraFish.

Canadian retailers, he said, are the first to carry the company's fish sticks, nuggets and burgers, but talks are underway with retail and foodservice operators in Asia, Europe and the Baltics.
