US retailer Giant Eagle in conjunction with Chilean marketing group ProChile is launching a campaign to boost sales of Chilean seafood in the Northeast and Midwest.

As part of the “Chile on Board” campaign that runs until Nov. 9, the retailer will promote Chilean salmon and mussels in Giant Eagle stores throughout Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

“Seafood is a common product on both coasts of the United States, but not so much in the hinterland of the country," Alexander Grabois, a representative with ProChile's commercial office in Philadelphia, said.
