Chile's National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) said it expects Russian restrictions to be lifted on all Chilean salmon suppliers eventually.
This comes after Russia on Friday lifted restrictions on four Chilean salmon suppliers exporting products into its market.
Congelados y Conservas Fitz Roy, Alvarez y Alvarez, Pesquera Torres del Paine and Nova Austral can now resume shipments to Russia.
While more meetings are expected to take place, Chilean salmon producers and authorities are in regular contact with their Russian counterparts, exchanging information in various ways, including through the use of video conferencing.
