Plant-based seafood brand, unMEAT, owned by Filipino seafood giant Century Pacific Food, is launching its new fish-free canned tuna at 250 Harris Teeter Supermarkets throughout the Southeastern United States.

Harris Teeter, which operates more than 250 stores in seven states and the District of Columbia, is a subsidiary of American supermarket giant Kroger, the United States' largest supermarket operator by revenue and fifth-largest general retailer.

"We hope that with a budget-friendly option easily found at their regular grocery store, more consumers will opt to incorporate more plant-based meals in their diet," said Gregory Branzon, chief operating officer for Century Pacific Group, the parent company of unMEAT.
