Canfisco-owned E&E Foods opens Japan office, appoints former Icicle executive as president

Canfisco-owned E&E Foods has opened an office in Tokyo, Japan, the company said Tuesday on a LinkedIn post.

Wataru Ozaki, who is retiring from his position as president of Icicle Seafoods Japan, has been appointed as president, the company said. E&E Foods Japan will be taking over Icicle Japan’s office space in Tsukiji, it added.

Canfisco is one of the largest processors and suppliers of Alaska seafood. A year ago, it purchased Alaska salmon processor North Pacific Seafoods from Maurbeni.
