Brazilian tilapia exports are expected to double in 2021, lifted by exports to the United States and 10 new processing plants in China, aquaculture producers' trade body Peixe BR said.
With 2020 production figures still being compiled, Brazilian tilapia producers were on track to record at least a 15 percent increase in production this year despite the global coronavirus pandemic pushing production close to the 500,000 metric tons mark.
