Nomad Foods, the parent of the Birds Eye, Iglo and Findus brands, said it has succeeded in maintaining demand for frozen fish fingers and coated fish at a time when the public is venturing out of home more as COVID-19 restrictions ease across the European Union and the United Kingdom.

"Improved capacity is leading to more normal promotional activity and in turn, particularly strong market share performance on in our core categories such as fish fingers, coated fish, spinach and green cuisine," Nomad CEO Stefan Descheemaeker told analysts during the company's second quarter earnings call on Thursday.
