China continues to be a growing market for Vietnamese pangasius, surpassing the United States as the largest importer of the fish in the first four months of this year, but more notable is the kinds of products consumers are demanding in the market.
The latest six-month report from the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors (VASEP) recorded a nearly 50 percent year-on-year growth in pangasius exports from Vietnam to China, extending a trend that has been ongoing for several years.
