Vietnam seafood exports to China are expected to double in the second half of this year, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

The association reported an estimation of exports reaching $1.2 billion (€1.1 billion) during the second half of the year, VN Express reported.

The recovery may come after a 2.3 percent slump year-on-year during the first half of the year driven by China's new border quality control policy, which caused some trouble for Vietnamese exporters due to a lack of knowledge on those standards.
