The Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation's (AFDF) 26th annual Alaska Symphony of Seafood competition featured an array of unique products -- from protein noodles to pet oils --that demonstrated some of the latest innovation within the Alaska seafood sector.

This year's judges included IntraFish as well as other food writers, members of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, and chefs for large US retailers.

Keith Brunell, a corporate culinary chef at retail clothing store chain Nordstrom, helped judge this year's competition and told IntraFish the company has 20 different restaurant concepts throughout the United States, and features only wild Alaskan salmon on its menu.
