Foodservice chain Subway launched a new shrimp sandwich that’s been described by customers as the ‘most shrimpy at better value’ sandwich in Tokyo, reports Sora News.

The new Zeitaku Ebi Sand – or luxury shrimp sandwich – is sold at JPY 740 (€6.10/$6.70), and it has 15 shrimp accompanied by tomatoes, bacon and salad.

Customers who tried the new sandwich said the “shrimp-intensive eating experience” was completely satisfying despite being on the expensive side of Subway.

“We came away completely satisfied with the flavor and value, and really, this is the most shrimp you’re likely to get in one meal in Tokyo without splurging for something much more expensive,” they said.
