The Ministry of Health in Israel recalled a series of Starkist's tuna products, following complaints of side effects, reported News 1.

The announcement from the ministry cited off tastes in the products recalled (light tuna chunks in olive oil, 80 grams) from Turkey.

The company has since announced that they are recalling these products from points of sale. Consumers are warned not to consume them.

"Starkist tuna products sold and distributed in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean islands are not involved in a recall," a Starkist spokesperson said. "The product named in this recall is distributed in Israel and is manufactured and distributed by food Dardanel, Turkey. This company is not affiliated with Starkist Co."
