French frozen foods giant Picard Surgéles plans to make its ready meals available to office staff and factory workers by the end of the year by rolling out all new vending machine technology.

"The deployment is envisaged towards the end of the year or in the second half," Picard Surgéles President Philippe Dailliez told BFM Business in a wide ranging audio interview.

"It's for companies that don't have a dedicated restaurant or those that wish to have a more varied offer," he said, adding the machinery could be used in various other locations or situations.
