This week our editors conducted a head-to-head comparison of three pepper-flavored salmon jerky products available nationally in the United States. We did a blind taste-test of salmon jerky from Seattle-based Ocean Beauty Seafoods, New York-based Acme Smoked Fish and Alaska-based Alaska’s Best. Products were scored on packaging and eating experience on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest score.

Judges’ Comments: Hands down, Ocean Beauty has the best packaging of the three we sampled.
