Captain D's, one of the largest quick-serve seafood restaurant chains in the United States, has been sold to Sentinel Capital Partners. The chain was owned by investment firm Centre Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Captain D's chain consists of 227 franchised and 303 company-owned locations with strongholds in the Southeast and Midwest.
