UK tuna giant Princes is offering Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)-certified tuna from the Western Pacific, becoming the first brand in the country to offer MSC-certified tuna from that region.
The fish is processed at Princes' Mauritius factory and sourced from the Parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNA) fisheries, which is formed of eight Pacific nations.
The product will also carry the logo of the global tuna marketing organization Pacifical, which was set up by the PNA.
