UK foodservice provider Seafood Holdings, which trades as Direct Seafoods, appointed Brian Hall as its new managing director at the beginning of the month.
Hall brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the seafood business in varying roles. He joined Seafood Holdings as a director in 2008, and has developed his role in Bidfresh as operations director within seafood since the company took over ownership in 2010.
Hall spoke with IntraFish about the biggest trends at UK foodservice, future growth plans, the potential impact of Brexit, and the importance of sustainable and local seafood sourcing.
