Marine Harvest plans to spend around €35 million ($39.4 million) over the next two years in a name change and rebranding strategy announced by the company Tuesday, Alf-Helge Aarskog, Marine Harvest CEO told IntraFish.

The company has been working on this project over the past two years.

“It is not only about the name change, but also about product development and marketing,” said Aarskog.

“This is very exciting. We’ll combine the whole company and use all value chains and build brand.
