New Jersey-based Lund’s Fisheries, a vertically-integrated squid and scallop firm, has one branded product line but is now developing a second, which it hopes to push out across the United States in the coming months.

"We're trying to grow into a nationally branded company," said Wayne Reichle, who was promoted from vice president to president Monday. "We're looking to expand our existing brand Sea Legend and add the brand, Seafood Market by Lund's Fisheries, he told IntraFish on Monday.

The company's new brand is expected to hit retailer shelves in about three months.
