Former Bumble Bee CEO Chris Lischewski is scheduled to make his first court appearance on June 6 in a San Francisco courtroom.

Lischewski will be arraigned on a federal indictment related to his alleged role in the seafood industry's largest-ever price fixing scandal.

Earlier in May, the US District Court for northern California handed down a one-count felony indictment alleging Lischewski carried out a conspiracy by agreeing to fix the prices of packaged seafood during meetings and other communications.

The co-conspirators, Chicken of the Sea and Starkist, issued price announcements and pricing guidance in accordance with these agreements, the indictment alleges.
