Labeyrie Fine Foods brand Delpierre is considering a partnership with global online retail giant Amazon as part of a strategy to keep pace with increased diversification of distribution channels.

"We are only just starting to study a partnership with Amazon," Delpierre Marketing Director Sophie Bourrut Lacouture told IntraFish.

The development comes in a changing market where the share of hypermarkets and supermarkets stores is decreasing in favor of more dynamic distribution channels.
