The Icelandic Chefs Association has apologized to salmon farmer Arnarlax over a dispute that took place back in September.

A number of chefs in the country protested the association’s links to salmon farming. According to Icelandic newspaper Visir, the chefs criticized salmon farming as a method of production that threatens wild salmon populations and has a number of negative environmental impacts on Iceland's biosphere.
