Grieg Seafood's Skuna Bay salmon brand is launching into 2018 fiercely with a coast-to-coast promotional effort and a major market push for its new "Perfect Portion" skinpacks.

The promotional effort, "Skuna Bay On The Road," started last week, brings together the company's craftsman farmers with chefs and customers in Los Angeles. Skuna Bay teamed up with Santa Monica Seafoods, its distributor partner in southern California for the program.

"We send our farmers out on these relationship-building tours, and our customers and chefs love it because they want to know who's growing their salmon," said Dave Mergle, managing director of British Columbia-based Ocean Quality, which is Grieg's sales organization.
