Former celebrity chef Daniel Pawson and his business partner Dominic Smith are using salmon skins that are usually thrown away to craft a product they are calling Sea Chips, the United Kingdom's first salmon skin crisps.
Forbes reports Jonathan Brown, founder of Macknight Smoked Foods, has invested in the company and is now a shareholder.
Sea Chips received its first investment from Brown about 10 months ago and has since secured a state-of-the-art production facility in Cumbria, United Kingdom, as well as multiple buyer connections, according to the news site.
