A new, American football themed restaurant opened near the US capital city this week, and the menu is full of East Coast seafood items, reported Eater DC.
The 12,000-square-foot Hail & Hog Kitchen and Tap, a new Washington Redskins football-themed restaurant in Ashburn, Virginia, is led by Chef James Wilson and has a regional theme. The fare includes a lot of Maryland crab -- including crab and lobster mac and cheese and a crab cake sandwich.
Other items on the seafood-heavy menu include raw oysters from the US East and West coast, calamari with jalapenos, crab deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail, Chesapeake Bay chowder with bay scallops, monkfish and lump crab, cedar salmon salad, Faroe Island salmon and seasonal fish items.
