Canada-based Cooke Seafood opened a distribution and retail center in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, through its subsidy AC Covert, one of the largest foodservice seafood suppliers in Canada.

The company spent $5.2 million (€4.6 million) to build up the facility, which operates six delivery trucks.

Cooke bought AC Covert Distributors in 2008 and has since then lifted its product range to offer 400 varieties of fresh and frozen seafood, including smoked salmon, lobster, halibut, scallops and more.
