US restaurant chain Captain D's said Wednesday it promoted former VP of Purchasing Janet Duckham to the role of chief supply chain officer.
In her new role, Duckham will lead worldwide purchasing, oversee quality assurance and manage distribution and logistics.
Duckham has overseen purchasing and quality assurance over the past six years, and has been "highly instrumental in advancing all aspects of Captain D's complex logistics, sourcing and distribution, as well as food quality, safety and pricing," the company said.
The company also announced Nancy Ward has been promoted to vice president of training, implementing internal training and development programs for Captain D's operators.
