Lent is an important part of the seafood promotional calendar for US quick-service seafood restaurant chain Captain D's. And that's why this year it's rolling out a new pollock promotion in a giant way.
Beginning Feb.11, the company will launch its Lenten promotion featuring D’s Giant Fish Sandwich, which Janet Duckham, chief supply chain officer at national restaurant chain, describes as "the biggest in the industry."
Wild-caught pollock is a signature item for Captain D’s, Duckham said.
