Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) has reappointed the incumbent agency LOTUS for a five year period that started this July.

The contract for overseas marketing representative covers the whole of Northern Europe and focuses on positioning Alaska’s seafood industry as a competitive market-driven food production industry and premium global brand, ASMI said Friday.

ASMI is a public-private partnership between the State of Alaska and the Alaska seafood industry.

The agency will focus on the development of new products for Alaska seafood, innovation in digital strategies and consumer marketing strategies advocating for seafood consumption ahead of the Rugby World Cup and Tokyo Olympics.
