The Chinese conglomerate Alibaba plans to source more Canadian seafood due to increasing demand from China for fresh food, reports Alizila.

Last year, Alibaba recorded sales of 100,000 lobsters in just one day.

Alibaba is offering Canadian businesses product selection, pricing, logistics and marketing to boost the market. The e-commerce giant also holds workshops to bridge the gap between Chinese customers and small-to-medium businesses around the world.
