The UK National Crime Agency reported that nearly 100 kilos of cocaine were concealed and found in a refrigerated van transporting frozen fish cargo. The cocaine was discovered by Border Force officers as the cargo was loaded off a ferry on Saturday morning.

The haul is estimated to have a street value of £10 million (€11.7 million/$12.9 million).

The driver, James Satterly, was charged with importing class A drugs.

NCA Senior Investigating Officer Paul Morris said h agency would continue to investigate the case.
