Some companies are dropping out of a class action lawsuit that alleges Norwegian farmed salmon giants conspired to fix salmon prices in the US market.

In a motion filed with a US District Court in Florida on Wednesday, Cape Florida Seafood, Beacon Fisheries and Hesh’s Seafood all withdrew their companies as class representatives and moved to voluntarily dismiss without prejudice their individual claims against the companies.

It was unclear what caused the companies to remove themselves from the massive lawsuit, whose defendants include Mowi, Mitsubishi-owned Cermaq, Leroy Seafood, SalMar and Ocean Quality.
